The Quake Shirt

KQAK FM99 The Quake logo t-shirt

The Quake, KQAK FM99 was a San Francisco radio station, home during the 80s to great rock music as well as the burgeoning "alternative" music scene. Mornings were hosted by Alex Bennett and his unique and original style of morning show, which has since been endlessly reproduced by many others (think Howard Stern). Unfortunately the station closed shop in the mid 80s, much too soon. Some of the original on-air personalities can still be found in various stations all over the country, some still in the SF Bay Area as well as Southern California. These shirts aren't vintage-looking so you'll need to do some work on them yourself to properly "age" them.
